Glass Tile
Glass tile is quickly
becoming a focal point for that “one-of-a-kind” touch to many projects. Glass
tile comes in many sizes and shapes. It has been traditionally used for accents
on shower walls and floors, whirlpool tub decks and kitchen backsplashes. Glass
tile are available in colored see thru looks, foil backed with metallic
appearances, as well as small mosaic tiles with a mixture of colors in each
tile. Visit our showroom to see the amazing things
being done with glass tile.
Porcelain Tile
Glazed porcelain tiles are
much harder and more wear and damage
resistant than non-porcelain ceramic tiles,
making them suitable for any application
from light traffic to the heaviest
residential traffic. Full body porcelain
tiles carry the color and pattern through
the entire thickness of the tile making them
virtually impervious to wear. Porcelain
tiles are available in matte, unglazed or a
high polished finish. We carry many brands
in
our showroom and look forward to
speaking with you about your project.
Ceramic Tile
Ceramic tiles
are generally made from red or white
clay fired in a kiln. They are almost always
finished with a durable glaze which carries the
color and pattern. These tiles are used in both wall
tile and floor tile applications and are softer than
porcelain.
Many
tiles use a multi-colored glazing process, so the color of tile will
have many different shades of color blended together to make it
appear as real as natural stone when it is installed in your home. In
our showroom
you’ll find ceramic tiles that resemble slate,
marble, and travertine that are well suited for entryways, bathrooms, kitchens
and hallways. |
